Seperated into five different areas, you enter via New Market Street and the first thing you notice is the dragon logo on the frosted glass entrance. Walk through the entrance and enter Le Jardin, the wine bar. Have your before dinner drinks here under the stars. Catch a quick nibble at Le Bistro before heading up to La Brasserie (the restaurant) for a full Chinese meal. Or head to La Bar for more drinks and some partying. Another breather awaits you at La Cour, the Water Court. Here, a pebbled foot path around the small pond gives quick relieve to those needing a foot massage. A universal Asian theme runs through all the five areas and even the food is Asian in flavour. If you fancy only one stop on a night out, Asian is the place. The crowd who tend to congregate here are a mix of expats and yuppies, most of them very attractive. The music played is generally groovy acid jazz, and the happy hours are reasonable. With its relaxing, stylish decor and soothing atmosphere, it makes for a popular stop even for those who aren't planning to proceed to the adjoining restaurant. To the right is the crustacean bar where you can get the freshest seafood from the Pacific Ocean. Up ahead is the cocktail bar. Look carefully and you will notice the changing colours of the counter top, thanks to the fibre optics. To the left of the cocktail bar is the music room where you can go to groove to the sounds spun by the DJ. One interesting feature is the liquor bottle wall to the right of the cocktail bar. It is covered by a gold translucent curtain from ceiling to floor. So it looks semi-private, adding a touch of privacy to the open bar. Hop in the brightly-lit bar counter oozing a sense of country-like coziness. Besides being a happening bar, they're also pretty popular with executives during lunch hour. And on Mondays to Fridays from 5pm to 7pm, it's Crazy Hour, where pints of Heineken and Abbot's go at $9 a pint. An in-house jazz band is a venerable symbol intricately associated with the bar and the musical versatility of the tight outfit ensures a loyal crowd of regulars.
